How to Apply

Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2019 Drawdown Scholars Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program.

Important Steps to Submit Your Application

Login at the application website to create and submit your application.

Step #1

Add your biographical data and select research project preferences

Step #2

Upload the following files in pdf format:

  • Statement of Purpose: One-page (maximum) statement describing why you wish to participate in this REU program, any previous research experiences, and your career goals.
  • Résumé/CV
  • Current Transcript: Unofficial transcripts are accepted

Step #3

Enter contact information for at least one reference. Drawdown Research Experiences for Undergraduates administrators will contact this reference directly to submit a letter of recommendation.
